The Oku Marabou Jaamah Masjid Rahman Mosque at Allen Street was established in 1938 in Bathurst (Banjul) to host the Oku Marabout Muslim Community as their centre of worship and other religious functions. The building foundation of the Allen Street Mosque started with wood and clay locally known in colonial days as "Kerintin", and was rebuilt during three different periods.
